We Are Tech engages its community with an annual event series called, Let’s Talk About Equity. In this series, the We Are Tech brings together Educators, Students, Parents, Tech Professionals and Community Leaders to share ideas, insights, and solutions around how the tech industry can equitably invest in communities of color.

In 2021, this series launched with panels, and now in 2022 We Are Tech has expanded this series to include mixers and fireside chats. Our team’s goal with this series is to provide a platform that amplifies the voices of our community members, and makes their needs and concerns heard on their journey with tech and in the tech industry!
